If we can't pass entrance exams to secondary schools, general secondary schools and vocational schools, then what is solution for us, depressed children?

After graduating from junior high school, if we don't pass entrance exams for high school, general high school, and vocational school, will there be a way out for our depressed children?

At beginning of this semester, my daughter was very worried and worried. Because she knows very well that after this semester her classmates will change direction and move to another school to start a different school life. However, she was very confused and panicked because she knew that her grades would not pass entrance exams for basic high schools, comprehensive high schools, or even vocational high schools. She was worried about her future, about her life in junior high school, she stopped and went like this, where could she go after high school entrance exam in June? what can be done

She also wanted to study hard, and she made a decision countless times, but countless times she was defeated by impotence and returned to her original place. She is afraid to go to school, afraid to get along with her classmates, constantly falls asleep and dozes off, can't listen to teacher's lectures, can't do her homework...

At that time, she hated herself very much, hated herself, had serious internal conflicts, was extremely anxious. She even said: “If she doesn't find direction of future in June and doesn't know where to go, she will go to S. Because she has no other choice.

While I comfort her, encourage her, and tell her, even if you don't do anything, mom and dad can support you! But daughter said: this is not life she wants!

Seeing my daughter suffering from this made me feel like my chest was full, I was suffocated and it was hard to breathe. So, I thought, I have to do something, I also need to know our children, if they really can't make it to high school or if they really can't read books, where are they going to go?

So I spent two days drawing up chart, after which my mind cleared up, my chest wasn't blocked, and I felt relaxed. At same time, I showed chart to my daughter and told her that even if we fail high school entrance exam, even if we fail professional high school entrance exam, we still have many options—

If we can't pass entrance exams to secondary schools, general secondary schools and vocational schools, then what is solution for us, depressed children?

Firstly, even if we really can't even pass GPA of vocational education, but if you want to study, we can also consider going to a private public high school or a vocational school, and you can also go to university .

Second, if you do not want to study, you can also develop your interests, such as painting or playing violin that you like, we can participate in vocational training and study in some social institutions as direction of future work.

Third, if you do not want to participate in such training, we can also take part in short-term skills training, such as: learn how to make coffee, bartending, milk tea, dessert, baking, flower arrangement, eyebrows. manicure. You can go to work or open a store.

Fourth, in addition, you can also try to become an anchor through self-study or online learning (video: such as Douyin, live broadcast, video number and other platforms are available; audio: you can record audio books, live voice acting, voice acting videos like Ya Himalaya, Lychee, Dragonfly, Penguin and other platforms are also good)

If you choose social education, self-study/networking, and later find that you have academic needs, you can also take part in relevant education in some social institutions to get an appropriate college, undergraduate or even higher academic diploma education.

I don't know if chart played a role or because I saw a change in my mother's attitude. In any case, my daughter seems to have gradually shed her worries about future.

She then discussed schedule with me and came up with her preliminary plan:

Firstly, she will continue to play violin well.

Secondly, she was going to attend a private vocational high school to study nursing, something she had dreamed of since she was a child. And she also thinks she can't adjust to pressure of studying at Pugao.

Third, if she still can't continue her studies at a vocational school, like current high school, where she often has to take time off, she will consider learning how to make coffee, because she likes it.

Fourthly, she can occasionally write articles and post articles on official account (before that, her daughter posted articles on two official accounts and received about 1,000 yuan in royalties and manuscript fees).

The anxiety about what to do after graduating from high school, which has been bothering my daughter for a long time, disappears.

Recently, my daughter and I often go to some private vocational high schools on weekends to learn about situation, hoping to find a school she likes. At same time, we also visited some short-term educational institutionsfacilities such as a coffee maker. My daughter really liked it when she saw it. She also said that after graduating from vocational lyceum, if there is no other better choice, she will still come to learn how to brew coffee.

Now she takes violin lessons three times a week more seriously than before and has more time to practice. Sometimes she also writes and draws casually. In afternoon, when weather is nice, we will ride shared bicycles and walk through streets and alleys of Chengdu, hoping to find those unknown delicious food stalls. In short, now she is doing what she likes and does not seem to worry about future at all. Very good!

The chart in this article is a simple list of my daughter's past anxieties: she faced high school graduation, total disorientation and panic. This temporarily relieved her anxiety.

In fact, we all know that while kids like us seem powerless most of time, they still don't give up and still yearn for future. But if reality makes them unable to see hope, they will become even more powerless, helpless and helpless.

I'll be very happy if article diagram above helps those who just need help, but if you have different opinions and suggestions, please leave a message in comment area. I look forward to discussing and learning with you and let's work together for our children Raise up a piece of blue sky.
